Purpose Driven Design
We try to work with individuals and small businesses that could benefit from it the most.
Championing those who have been marginalised, be it tribal craftspeople, religious minorities, house-bound widows and single mothers who practice their handicraft between domestic tasks.
We pay them what they ask for. Knowing we are giving someone a leg up makes us happy.
Handmade Heritage
Our fabrics have been made by generational artisans using crafts that are made by hand using traditional tools.
Rather than letting them be forgotten in the world of souvenirs, we bring them into the realm of street fashion.
We're Scrappy
We mean we use pre-used scraps, recycled offcuts, and stock-lots; things that were headed to a landfill or worse, a fire-pit.
Our materials are not available in huge quantities and that defines how we design, produce and innovate.
Small Batches of One-Offs
Our designs are only produced in very small batches, as little as 5 pieces some times. Each piece is made individually, one at a time, using materials that intrinsically can't be repeated because of their composition and craftsmanship.
And so, no design is ever brought back exactly as its previous version, we enjoy that this forces us to evolve.
Animal Friendly
We don't use leather or any other animal products.
As we grow, explore, and find access to more sustainable materials and methods; we will incorporate more practices into our designs that are better for animals, us, and the planet.
